The worst thing about this game: There is no Double Dragon Advance II, because the devs shoehorned characters from the sequel (like Burnov) into that game which is a waste of space.

So many of these games really did a terrible job making the finishers look powerful. Even here where the graphics are ok and the physics look good, all the finishers look like cheap common moves. At least some of them got some showboating like Razor's pose and Yoko's stomp. The old NES WCW Pro Wrestling game did the finishers way better despite being more primitive 8 bit graphics. The screen flashes, sumbission holds actually result in a submission, and the sounds are more bold. I'll never understand how Vince allowed these to be marketed when something as important as the finishers got so little effort into making them look devastating.

it's a shame that they didn't introduce the give up animation from RAW in this game. in RAW it was superfluous because bret and owen's sharpshooter are the only submissions in the game. and the perfect plex, banzai drop or the kamala splash as a pin move shouldn't be difficult to add into the gamecode.
